Grimsby born, Barry has worked locally, but has enjoyed managerial stints in Manchester, Nottingham and Cambridge to name a few.

However since his return to the hotel in 2017 – you can tell his heart belongs to us. Always willing to offer a helping to hand to anyone – customers or staff. We are so pleased to have him onboard.
When he’s not at work he loves spending time with his son and coaching a local football team.
Ben
Operations Manager
Ben began his career with us at the tender age of just 16 and has gained his vast experience by working in various roles within the hotel.

Ben left us for 2 years to gain experience from some other great hotels in North East Lincolnshire. Since he re-joined The Team back in 2017, he has gained a reputation as one of the best Master of Ceremonies in the area. Ben is always on hand to assist in any role within the hotel.
During his time off work Ben enjoys spending time with wife, children and dogs.
Martyna
Receptionist
Martyna joined our team in 2024 and has settled in well. She is one of the first faces you will see when you visit us at the hotel.

With this position being her first in hospitality she has taken it in her stride and exceeded expectations. Coming from working in the care sector, Martyna has transferred a lot of her skills that she acquired from that role into this one.
When she is not at work Martyna loves Gaming and spending time with her partner and their dog.
